Job Summary

STS Technical Services is hiring a Manufacturing Engineering Resource Planner in Fort Worth, Texas. This role is critical in effectively allocating manufacturing resources for process planning, BOM consumption, and CAP routing creation for manufacturing operations using Bell business systems. Ideal candidates will have deep knowledge of shop production, processing operations, and a strong ability to analyze engineering drawings, models, and technical specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer effective allocation of manufacturing resources for process planning creation and maintenance.
  • Responsible for BOM consumption and CAP routing creation in manufacturing operations.
  • Ensure accurate management and consumption of BOMs for manufacturing processes.
  • Create and maintain work sequence documentation, CAP routings, and manufacturing item orders/requests including NC Programs, Tools/Fixtures, and Gages.
  • Provide process planning support through production order maintenance, tool maintenance requests, and planning liaison functions.
  • Create and maintain dimensional charts, manufacturing instructions (text-based and 2D format), material operation diagrams, and ply tables as required.
  • Support producibility assessments and provide technical assistance to procurement and suppliers as needed.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of Loft, Engineering, Tooling, Manufacturing, and Planning processes.
  • Skilled in the application of GD&T/Aerospace tolerances.
  • Proficiency in interpreting various engineering drawings, models, bills of materials, and technical specifications.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with internal and external customers.
  • Demonstrated capability in aircraft manufacturing knowledge and preparedness to train and direct Production Engineering work.
Educational Requirements
  • Two (2) years of college or equivalent experience in the aircraft industry.
  • Completion of a related Bell apprentice program is a plus.
