Sentara Greenbrier HealthPlex is hiring a Radiology Services Coordinator for the Advanced Imaging Center.

Hours/Shift:
Office is open 6:30am to 6pm and rotating Saturdays. This position is for 36 hours per week, full time.

Required Education :

High School Grad or Equivalent

Experience :

None, unless noted in the "Other" section below

Licenses and Certifications :

Required: Basic Life Support

Skills Required: Communication, Critical Thinking, Microsoft Office, Speaking, Technology/Computer, Writing

Other :

Medical Assistants and Medical Administrative Assistants will be considered with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a medical environment preferred.

Job Summary

Responsible for the order entry process, communication and guest relations, medical record maintenance/analysis, responsible for transporting, lifting, positioning of patients, and various non-technical/clerical duties. Demonstrates competency in the operation of radiologic systems for the management and transfer of digital images to complex media and converting images on film to digital formats.

Qualifications:

HS - High School Grad or Equivalent (Required)

Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQI
