Senior Analyst, Capital Markets & Risk

Responsibilities:

  • Support the portfolio management team with other managed products, including other Agency mortgage products, as well as credit sensitive instruments such as ( Commercial mortgage-backed securities ) CMBS, private label (Residential mortgage-backed securities) RMBS, (Asset Backed Security) ABS, and US Treasuries

  • Partner with cross-functional teams and drive data, process and analytics automation initiatives

  • Demonstrate ability to explore and quickly grasp new technologies to progress varied initiatives and help drive automation and advanced analytics

  • Build and maintain relationships with diverse partner teams across the company, providing guidance to teams within Finance (Treasury, Balance Sheet Management, Controller's Group, etc.), lines of business, and operational staff functions

  • Assist in evaluating new regulatory changes and their impact on processes, then incorporate those changes into the regulatory documentation

  • Provide Program Management support to ensure all deliverables are completed on time and prepare updates for Senior Leadership

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or military experience

  • At least 2 years of experience in Financial Services

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years experience working with fixed income or Agency mortgage products

  • At least 1 year of experience in Python, SQL, or Tableau, or a combination

  • Experience working with Bloomberg

  • Experience with risk management, compliance, audit, or finance, or a combination
